After America , There is No Place to Go

For several months, I’ve not written much into this blog site. With each passing day, I grow more appalled at the socialist/Marxist direction our country is taking. The Obama regime is, I’m convinced, on a course to transform our beloved Republic into a socialist nightmare.

It is now abundantly clear that Obama’s guiding star is Marxism, but sadly, few people today really appreciate what that means, having been educated by the public brainwashing system we call “Public Schools.” Some will dismiss, as they always do, such statements, preferring to live in denial. However, unless our people wake up and vote these power-hungry mavens of Marxism out of power this November, I fear we will slip into an era of darkness unparallel in human history. 

The article below was written by a woman who witnessed the takeover of her country in the 30s by Hitler. There are terrifying parallels to her story and what we are experiencing in the United States today. Can it happen here? Your life and the lives of your family may depend on how you answer that question. Read the article through and decide for yourself.

Don’t Let Freedom Slip Away

 What I am about to tell you is something you’ve probably never heard or will ever read in history books.

I believe that I am an eyewitness to history.  I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history.  We elected him by a landslide – 98% of the vote..  I’ve never read that in any American publications.  Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.

In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression.  Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed.  We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates.

Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily.  Young people were going from house to house begging for food.  Not that they didn’t want to work; there simply weren’t any jobs.  My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need.  Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people – about 30 daily.

The Communist Party and the National Socialist Party were fighting each other.  Blocks and blocks of cities like Vienna, Linz, and Graz were destroyed.  The people became desperate and petitioned the government to let them decide what kind of government they wanted.

We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany, where Hitler had been in power since 1933.  We had been told that they didn’t have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living.  Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group — Jewish or otherwise.  We were led to believe that everyone was happy.  We wanted the same way of life in Austria. We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family.  Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. 

Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler.

We were overjoyed, and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades.  The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.

After the election, German officials were appointed, and like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order.  Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed.  The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.

Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women.  Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home.  An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn’t support his family.  Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously had been required to give up for marriage.

Hitler Targets Education -
Eliminates Religious Instruction for Children:

Our education was nationalized.  I attended a very good public school.  The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler’s picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn’t pray or have religion anymore.  Instead, we sang “Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles,” and had physical education.

Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance.  Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum.  They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time.  The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail.  The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination.  The rest of the day we had sports.  As time went along, we loved it.  Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free.  We would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had. 

My mother was very unhappy. 

When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent.  I told her she couldn’t do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful.  There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun – no sports, and no political indoctrination.  I hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it.  Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home.  I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing.  Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me.  They lived without religion.  By that time unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler.  It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly.  As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn’t exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.

Equal Rights Hits Home:

In 1939, the war started and a food bank was established.  All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps.  At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didn’t work, you didn’t get a ration card, and if you didn’t have a card, you starved to death. Women who stayed home to raise their families didn’t have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.

Soon after this, the draft was implemented.  It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps.  During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys.  They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps.  After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines.  When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat.  Three months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack.  I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.   

Hitler Restructured the Family Through Daycare: 

When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers.  You could take your children ages 4 weeks to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, 7 days a week, under the total care of the government.  The state raised a whole generation of children..  There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology.  By this time, no one talked about equal rights.  We knew we had been had.  

Health Care and Small Business Suffer Under Government Controls:

Before Hitler, we had very good medical care.  Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna.  After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone.  Doctors were salaried by the government.  The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything. When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full.  If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn.  There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine.  Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and immigrated to other countries.

As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80% of our income.  Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household.  We had big programs for families.  All day care and education were free.  High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized.  Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing. 

We had another agency designed to monitor business.  My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables.  Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners.  Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar.  He couldn’t meet all the demands.  Soon, he went out of business.  If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.

We had consumer protection.  We were told how to shop and what to buy.  Free enterprise was essentially abolished.  We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers.  The agents would go to the farms, count the live-stock, then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.  

“Mercy Killing” Redefined:

In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps.  The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated.  So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded.  When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work.  I knew one, named Vincent, very well.  He was a janitor of the school.  One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van.  I asked my superior where they were going.  She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write.  The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months.  They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.  

As time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death.  The villagers were not fooled.  We suspected what was happening.  Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months.  We called this euthanasia.  

The Final Steps – Gun Laws: 

Next came gun registration.  People were getting injured by guns.  Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns.  Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms.  Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns.  The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.

No more freedom of speech. 

Anyone who said something against the government was taken away.  We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.

Totalitarianism didn’t come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria.  Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath.  Instead, we had creeping gradualism.  Now, our only weapons were broom handles.  The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.

After World War II, Russian troops occupied Austria.  Women were raped, preteen to elderly.  The press never wrote about this either.  When the Soviets left in 1955, they took everything that they could, dismantling whole factories in the process.  They sawed down whole orchards of fruit, and what they couldn’t destroy, they burned.  We called it The Burned Earth. Most of the population barricaded themselves in their houses.  Women hid in their cellars for 6 weeks as the troops mobilized.  Those who couldn’t paid the price.  There is a monument in Vienna today, dedicated to those women who were massacred by the Russians.  This is an eye witness account.

I’m turning 59 this month. Honestly, I don’t feel old, but people my age always seemed so ancient to me when I was in my 20s and 30s. I can only say that with the passage of years, God has continually shown His grace and mercy in my life, and I can confidently say that only by His grace I remain on this earth. During my sojourn, I’ve learned a few things, perhaps only a few really useful things, and I’d like to share one of them with you.

The most important thing I’ve learned is that nothing in this world is truly reliable. Nothing in this world can give you true security, peace, or lasting comfort. I’ve learned that we must lift our eyes much higher than this world for that sort of thing.

Since I was in my early twenties I was called by the grace of God into faith in His Messiah Jesus, or Yeshua as He was known by His early followers. I did not come willingly. I resisted His call for a time, and fancied myself more than capable of running my own life and taking care of myself, thank you very much. In short, I liked very much being my own god in my own universe. I despised Christians who tried to “witness” to me about Jesus, or tell me I was a “sinner.” After all, as god of my own universe, I absolved myself of all wrongdoing, and besides, as a highly developed primate what did I care about imaginary ‘heavens’ or ‘hells’ since I was the final judge of all reality and ‘truth.” (NOT) Although my atheist friends like to tag me as ‘religious,’ I do not consider myself so. I’ve just faced TRUTH, and His name is Yeshua.

Truth… Now that has a way of being a terribly annoying thing when you’re busy making up reality according to your own opinion, isn’t it? Truth also has a tendency to knock the SNOT out of you when you can’t avoid it, and run into its brick facade! In the end, I lost the battle, and God, (the real one) was the victor. It really wasn’t much of a ‘battle’ since the outcome was already pre-determined, but I’ll leave that for another blog. 

I’ve learned that beyond the door of  TRUTH (and surrender to it) there is yet another door… TRUST. Specifically, I am speaking of TRUST IN GOD to lead, guide, order, and determine not only the events of our lives, but also the days of our lives, and the end of our lives in this world. You see, I’m completely convinced that all there is is not all that is seen. Stated less mystically, our time and sojourning in this present world are only a small part of a much larger span of life and existence that we have scarcely begun to fathom. Jesus promised us eternal life, and yet, how many of us cling to this present world as if it were the only existence we will ever know.

All this to say, brace for impact pilgrims. The world around you is about to come apart. Your life, your security, your possessions, your comforts, and your plans are about to radically change. I used to be able to ignore this to some degree, but the evidence all around me, and the witness of the Spirit inform me that we must actively, sincerely, and deliberately put ourselves into the mighty hands of God with TRUST. Certainly what is coming in terms of painful difficulty is not the end of the story! The birth pangs of an expectant mother (I’m told)  feel sometimes like the end of the world, but they are only part of a process of life. A new life is coming forth, and God has a plan for each of us.

The following video may be frightening to those whose hope is set on this world. I cannot apologize for sharing it with you, because I believe it is the truth. Some will try to discount it as so much fear-mongering by a worldly man who just wants to sell newsletters. However, before you blow him off, or give into the temptation to marginalize me or anyone else who cares enough about you to share this, I beg you to consider the follow scripture:

And the lord commended the unjust steward,
because he had done wisely:
for the children of this world are in their generation
wiser than the children of light.
(Luke 16:8 KJV)

 What can you do with this information? First, have a long and sincere conversation with God. He led Joseph in wisdom just as He gave wisdom to the early believers on numerous occasions after the fall of Jerusalem. He will also lead you and I. I cannot tell you what to do, and wouldn’t want the responsibility of giving too much advice. You need to hear from God. The most important thing is don’t walk another step in denial! Get your instructions, and ACT, not in fear, but in FAITH. It’s pretty simple really. In all cases, however, STAND AGAINST A SPIRIT OF FEAR that is coming upon the whole world. Act in diligence, wisdom, and faith, but never in fear.

A friend sent the following article to me. I was understandably skeptical of its veracity and did some checking. According to Snopes.com, this is TRUE. I do not entirely trust snopes since the couple who run that site are liberals and often skew their “findings” to favor Barack Obama. I have been trying to warn people since last summer before the election that Barack Hussein Obama is a dangerous man. I knew he was a far-left ideologue, and even the drive-by media acknowledged it. As revelations began to come to light about his close associations with people like William Ayers, (an avowed Marxist-Leninist, famous for his Weather Underground activities and participation in terrorist bombings in the 60s) and the “Rev” Wright, a Marxist “Liberation Theology” proponent and racist, I knew that Obama’s fascination with Marxism was real.

An Eye-Opening Experience

In 2006, I was a guest speaker at Obama’s High School, an elite private school in Honolulu called Punahou School. Punahou was originally a Christian missionary school, built on land granted in 1829 by Queen Ka’ahumanu. The school opened in 1842 with 15 students. Children of missionaries soon caused the school to grow quickly. Punahou is now a huge campus, with students from all over the world. Their most famous alumni however, is Barack Hussein Obama.

When I began my series of lectures, which were to cover an entire week to students in the middle grades to High School, things seemed to go well. My subject matter was the virtues of using our education, wealth, and life advantages for the betterment of mankind, serving, and ultimately reaching the world with the love and good news of the Messiah Yeshua. Trouble began when I was told by the campus Chaplains that I was not to “preach” to the children, or speak of Yeshua too much. I thought this peculiar, since this was originally a believer’s school founded by missionaries. The Chaplain staff actually seemed to be walking in fear of “offending” any of the “diversity” in the student body, and I was told that the school welcomes Buddhists, Shintoists, Muslims, etc. etc. When I was given a tour of the campus and met some of the faculty, it quickly became clear that I was in the midst of the most politically-correct, left-leaning, enviromentally activist school I’ve ever encountered. It was difficult to discern anyone who would actually admit to being a true Judeo/Christian believer. I’m not exagerating.

Well, two days into my lecture series, in which I made efforts to not “offend” anyone, the hammer fell. I was suddenly informed that a “special meeting” was set up with the school president and his principal staffers. The Chaplain who invited me seemed to be near to panic. I asked him what was going on, and he told me in hushed tones that “an article” I had written on my website, which was critical of radical Islam, had come to the president’s attention and was causing an uproar. Members of the Islamic community had written a letter of complaint because of my “attitudes” and wanted me fired and put off the campus.

I won’t go into detail about my meeting that afternoon in the plush offices of Punahou’s president and the principals of the grade levels, but if you picture the “inquisition” debacle that took place at the confirmation hearings of Judge Clarence Thomas, or the roast that Lt.Col Ollie North endured, you’d have a pretty good idea. (Disclaimer: I in no way think of myself as equal to, or ‘on-par’ with, these great men. I’m only trying to give you a mental picture of what I was subjected to.) They were outraged, waving a print-out of the offending article, and decrying my “Islamophobia.” Although I tried to explain to them that my article was directed entirely toward “radical” Islamics, and at no time had I even mentioned the subject in my lectures to the students, to these men, my mere presence on campus as a guest lecturer was absolutely intolerable. (So much for the left’s “tolerance.”) It was clear that “my kind” was an unwelcome blot on Punahou’s reputation, and the LAST thing they wanted to do was “offend” the many Islamic parents whose children attended the school. As a result, in order to not offend the “Muslim Community,” I was summarily dismissed, all remaining lectures cancelled, and asked to leave the campus. Score one for Mohammed.

This painful incident gave me tremendous insights into their famous former student, Obama. If  this was the atmosphere he was nurtured in and indoctrinated with, then it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest that he had embraced the most radical ideaologies. Suffice to say, I believe, based on this and many, many other evidences, that Barack Hussein Obama is a Marxist who cleverly ran a “stealth” campaign as a “moderate” in order to gain the most powerful office in our nation. I’m also convinced that he is moving at break-neck speed to destroy the United States as a Constitutional Republic and replace it with Communism.

There are yet those who will read this, continue to close their eyes and minds, and reject not only what I said, but also seek to marginalize me. So be it. I’m confident of my position, and well-aware that one day I may have to pay a dear price for my love of America and all she stands for. I shall take my place proudly at the side of brave men and women who fought, prayed, and died in the service of this wonderful nation, blessed by God. We’ve come a long way, and while it is true that many of us have lost our way and given place to greed, corruption, and evil, the dream is still alive. Maybe, just maybe we can find our way back to the greatness that once honored God and liberated untold millions from the cruel boot of oppression and slavery.

American capitalism--Gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
 
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years.

The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was… But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
 
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elite’s and betters.
 
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather than the classics.

Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives.

The leftist citizens of America care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. (Eat, drink & be merry)  Then these ignorant leftist turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy.”

Pride blinds the foolish.
 
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more than happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another.  Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power.

Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.
 
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama.

His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world!

If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not,  America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
 
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars.

These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison.
 
These thieves, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another.

They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.
 
Then came Barack Obama’s command that GM’s (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of “pure” free markets, this self-anointed American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
 
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a “bold” move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, Obama’s Czars would happily try and redesign the whole of the world, too.

Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK’s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, as it only leads to disaster.

Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing as compared to these ‘foolish, drunken Russians’, so let our “wise” Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
 
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper…but still a “freeman” whimper….so far.
 
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set “fair” maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses?

Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert cavorting in his ‘Marxist enlightenment’, has led this effort. He bleats this only affects companies that receive government monies. However it is actually retroactive and thus would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive…which basically includes ALL businesses.
 
The Russian owners of American companies and industries should carefully consider closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of Red America as fast as possible.
 In other words, divest while there is still value left.

Unjustifiability proud Americans will go down into their pit of slavery without a fight, beating their chest and proclaiming to the world, how free they really are. The world will only snicker at their stupidity.

The Senate is about to shove through (and down our collective throats) the confirmation of quite possibly the most radical Obama-appointed “Czar” yet. Sen. Harry Reid has declared that he is planning to push for “cloture” to force a Senate vote on the confirmation of Sunstein.

There are no words I can say that can adequately describe the immense damage Obama’s new Regulatory “Czar” could do to our nation. I urge you, I BEG YOU, please take a few minutes of your valuable time to watch the following video.

One of my favorite talk-show hosts is Michael Medved. I often listen to him late at night lying in bed using ear buds so I don’t disturb my sleeping beauty next to me. He is a brilliant host, well-versed in most subjects, and nearly always treats his call-in guests with deferential courtesy.

One subject, however, that seems to really get under Michael’s skin and provoke near-rants of indignation, is the subject of President Obama’s citizenship status and his qualifications to hold the highest office in the land. Under Article 2 of the constitution, only a “natural born” citizen is eligible to be president. Mr. Medved becomes nearly apoplectic when people question the veracity of the Certificate of Live Birth, released by the State of Hawaii and the Obama campaign as proof of his “natural born” citizenship.

Mr. Medved, with all due respect, thou “doth protest too much, methinks.” ¹

Perhaps the seriousness of this issue is lost on you, but I’m starting to think that we are facing potentially the most dangerous constitutional crisis in the history of our 233 year-old nation. Consider the following facts…

President Obama has not produced (despite repeated requests by citizens and members of the news media) any of the following information most people would consider customary and ordinary to anyone seeking high office.

• His kindergarten records
• His Punahou school records
• His Occidental College records
• His Columbia University records
• His Columbia thesis
• His Harvard Law School records
• His Harvard Law Review articles
• His scholarly articles from the University of Chicago
• His passport
• His medical records
• His files from his years as an Illinois state senator
• His Illinois State Bar Association records
• His baptism records
• His adoption records

These records are important insofar as they would give us valuable insights into Obama’s background and philosophy. However, they pale in comparison to the paramount importance of his producing a certified copy of his Long Form Birth Certificate. This document, above all others, would settle once and for all the growing controversy over his constitutional qualifications to serve as POTUS.  Some, like Michael Medved, have argued that this is a moot point since he was elected to the office. The fly in the ointment however, remains—the constitutionality of an Obama presidency.

The implications, if he is not qualified, are nearly unthinkable. For one thing, every order he gives as Commander in Chief is an illegal order. We’re already beginning to see some members of the military question the legitimacy of his authority. Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, an Army Engineer, has refused orders for deployment to Afghanistan because without proof of the commander-in-chief’s eligibility for office, the entire army “becomes merely a corps of chattel slaves under the illegitimate control of a private citizen.” ²

If other members of the military begin taking such a bold stand, we could see a severe crisis unfold in our national security. More than this, if our men and women in uniform begin to be regarded as illegitimate mercenaries without proper authority, they could be arrested in foreign nations and tried for “war crimes” without the protections of the Geneva Conventions. This would spell disaster. 

Mr. Medved, you may want to re-examine you position on this controversy. Even CNN’s Lou Dobbs, a man of the left, has openly called for Obama to produce his Long Form Birth Certificate so that this crisis can be put to rest. However, instead of complying with this seemingly reasonable request, the Obama administration has thrown up their legal shields at a cost of millions of dollars in attorney fees to stonewall any such disclosure. Now Dobbs himself is coming under fire by the far-left to basically “shut up” about this. ³

I leave you here with the following relevant quote from the Constitution in case you hadn’t read it recently. I fervently wish that every High School student—as a requirement for graduation—be compelled to memorize and recite the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. But that’s a subject for another blog.

“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

10th Amendment grassfire winds are blowing toward Washington!

Those of you who did not like Gov. Sarah Palin before, may like her now!

Gov. Sarah Palin has just signed a joint resolution declaring Alaska’s sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution; 36 other states have done the same in a growing resistance to the federal government.

Just days before she plans to step down from her position as Alaska governor, Palin signed House Joint Resolution 27 .The resolution “claims sovereignty for the state under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.”

Alaska’s State House passed HJR 27 by a vote of 37-0, and the Senate passed it by a vote of 40-0.

The joint resolution is not a law, but it is a significant move toward getting the message out to other lawmakers, the media and grassroots movements. She is a media magnet and this action was noted on
all the cable news networks, major newspapers, magazines, and talk radio.

Essentially it’s a reminder that the United States is made up of individual states; it’s not a federal authority broken up into political subdivisions.

The federal government was created by the states to be an agent of the states. Currently the states are treated as agents of the federal government in violation of the Constitution.

Over the past 30 years, there have been increasing federal mandates and acts designed to legislate the affairs of our various states from Washington D.C. Federal usurpation into state affairs severely limits the ability of state governments to operate by the people and for the people on the local level.

Now more close to home, I am pleased that Georgia State House Rep. Bobby Franklin (R) of Marietta, is leading the charge for the protection of The 10th Amendment.

Rep. Franklin’s bills are:

H.R. 470- State Sovereignty Resolution (10th Amendment)

HB 466- Tax the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

(This private banking cartel has been exempted from being audited and from paying corporate income tax. This law would reverse this exemption.)

H.B. 430 Constitutional Tender Act

(This law would shift the exchange transfer away from the Federal Reserve Accounting Unit Dollars to gold and silver backed currency.)

State Authority and Intrastate Commerce Act

Recognizing that everything made, assembled, grown, raised, produced, mined, generated or in any other way originating in Georgia, and is sold for use in Georgia, is not subject to federal law or regulation since it does not travel in interstate commerce.

State Authority and Federal Tax Funds Act

(Because Georgia is a “Donor State” meaning the amount of taxes paid to the federal government is greater than the amount of federal tax dollars returned to the state – This act would cause the Feds to cease from taxing Georgia citizens through graduated income tax.)

In conclusion, I would like to challenge you to join the efforts of Sarah Palin to stand down tyrrany and corruption. I would also like to challenge you to join with Bobby Franklin to guard against plunder and forced compliance to unlawful policies. We must fight or we will not recognize the country in which our grandchildren live.

Okay, I’m bracing for some inevitable blowback. There are still some people out there who blindly put their trust and confidence in government almost as an article of faith. Liberals are famous for this, provided of course, other liberals are in charge of government.

I’m going to wade into something here that will potentially alarm and provoke people. At least, I hope so. It may even get my name on a list somewhere in the bowels of Homeland Security. Thanks to the “watch-out-for-these-guys” paranoia memos Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano released recently from Home-Sec, I shouldn’t be at all surprised.

Since last November’s elections, I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. The landscape is changing, and we’re definately not in Kansas anymore Toto. In spite of this, I’m one of those guys who dares to pull back the curtain and expose the little man pulling levers, pushing buttons, and shouting into a microphone; “I am the Great and all-powerful Oz! Pay no attention to that little man behind the curtain!” It is becoming clear to me that our government is increasingly playing the role of the “little man behind the curtain” and seeking to intimidate people into subservience through fear-mongering and false displays of menacing power.

I’ve become highly suspicious of the Obama administration’s agenda on a number of levels, and especially related to the recent flu outbreak. It’s enough already that we are living in an era of complete reversal of the Reagan doctrine:

“In this present crisis,
government is not the solution to our problem,
government IS the problem.”

By contrast, the essence of the Obama doctrine is:

“In this present crisis,
LACK of government is the problem,
and I am the answer.”

Now we seem to be moving toward draconian mandatory “answers” on the heels of this crisis and any others that pop up that will not only threaten our liberty, but possibly our very lives. Scary stuff this.

I’m basically suspicious of government generally, especially in the political climate we find ourselves in presently. The element  “Governmentium,” (to coin a phrase) is a highly-toxic, radioactive, and unstable element that must be feared and handled with extreme care. George Washington once gave a grave warning;

“Government is not persuasion.
Government is force.
Like fire, it is a powerful servant,
and a fearful master.”

You won’t find “Governmentium” on a Periodic Table of Elements in a physics class, but you can be sure that down through history, more people have died from the effects of “Governmentium” than any other factor. I recently read an historical statistic that people are twelve times more likely to perish at the hands of their own government than in all the wars and plagues of history.

I’m in good company with my skepticism. Thomas Jefferson (another right-wing extremist according to the recent definition touted by our employees over at Home-Sec), often expressed his qualms about the dangers of out-of-control government.

Historically, all governments have enhanced their political capital on the back of natural disasters or upheavals to one degree or another. Politicians have job security when their constituents see them as the answer to all their problems. Their image as public heroes who zoom out of their bat-caves to rescue the helpless sheeple whenever the bat-signal flashes over metropolis is priceless. Sadly, such conditioned dependency upon government inevitably results in loss of personal freedoms and liberty.

There is something about this particular swine influenza “crisis” that causes my “spider-sense” to tingle. I can’t seem to shake the idea that a larger game is afoot, and we are witnessing something sinister unfolding.

Please don’t misunderstand me. Influenza is a very nasty disease, and it kills an average of 30,000 to 60,000 people each year in the United States. http://tinyurl.com/cw9f34 The wide range of estimated deaths is due to the fact that while influenza was a factor in all of these deaths, there are often other medical conditions in play that may have caused morbidity in any case. (E.g., A cancer, cardiac, trauma, or diabetic patient at death’s door when they contracted the flu, in which case influenza was a complicating factor.)

When the news media starts freaking out about a “crisis” I take a deep breath, do a firefighter size-up, (“Look up, look down, look all around”) and activate my analysis brain-circuitry. I also consult multiple sources of information, and ask lots of questions. It’s also useful to remember that news media organizations are for-profit enterprises, and they live and die on alarming “breaking news.” If it “bleeds, it leads” is the guiding maxim.

Advertising revenue is their bread and butter and is determined by market-share. Market share is directly proportional to the number of people who are watching (or reading) at any given time. Truth is most of people are fascinated by tragedies and bad news. This is the main reason why most traffic jams occur after an accident. It’s not always because of blocked lanes. Trust me, I know, having been a volunteer firefighter for several years. People often slow down and “rubberneck” the scene for signs of blood and gore.

If this present flu outbreak ever becomes anything more than a few thousand cases, I am deeply concerned that the Obama administration, with their leftist media cheerleaders, fellow-travelers, and “useful idiots” will raise a hue and cry for mandatory vaccinations and nationalized health care. (Read: Socialized, sub-standard, inefficient, outrageously expensive, medically hazardous, bureaucratically-miss-managed, and maddingly difficult to access… “Healthcare”)

In a worse-case scenario, if the media succeeds in fomenting a full-blown panic, it might provide the perfect excuse for President Obama to invoke martial law and suspend the constitution in order to “protect the American people.” He has that power through presidential directives. According to Wikepedia, “Presidential directives are a form of executive order issued by the President of the United States with the advice and consent of the National Security Council. A presidential directive has the “full force and effect of law.””

Again, we all hope this strain of influenza will be just one more nasty bug we will have to suffer through and develop natural immunity for. But one of the virtually forgotten tragedies (which I remember well) was the government’s outrageous over-response to the last swine flu scare of 1976. Untold thousands of people were given a hastily developed and unproven vaccine that killed 25 and paralyzed over 500 people! The lawsuits resulting from that fiasco came to over $1.3 billion in 1976 dollars.

Who stands to gain from a “pandemic?”  Follow the money! The pharmaceutical companies will rake in billions, and the socialists in our government will play the panic for all it’s worth. Such a contrived panic always results in greater government intrusion into our private lives, and the main influenza casualty could end up being “Lady Liberty.”

Perhaps you’re aware that over 3,000 people die of malaria every day in undeveloped nations according to the WHO. No? Gee wiz, I wonder why? Our health officials call this a “health problem.” Really? I suspect that if these malarial deaths were occurring in a westernized society where pharmaceutical companies could make billions from lawyer-intimidated insurance companies, this “health problem” would have been solved long ago! A crisis-driven leftist media machine would “call on” government officials to demand that they “do something.” The government bat-mobiles would roar out of their bat-caves, and we’d all lose more money and freedom.

Personally, I’m taking normal precautions. I use a paper towel to open bathroom doors, don’t shake hands with people that are sneezing or have a runny nose, and try not to eat out in restaurants where the kitchen staff can’t speak the King’s English. (And please spare me the ‘racist’ blather. I have a mixed-race family).

This recent flu outbreak came out of Mexico, so isn’t it logical that we call it the “Mexican flu?” After all, it’s perfectly acceptable to call other influenzas names like the “Asian” flu or the “Hong Kong” flu or the “Spanish” flu. The fact that our government steadfastly refuses to enforce our borders and immigration laws along our southern border is inexcusable and criminally negligent, especially since this is where “patient zero” was discovered.

Please understand I have no animosity toward the Mexican people. They have my sympathy in that they live under an oppressive, corrupt government, and desire a better life. Our forefathers in the U.S. paid a heavy price in blood and treasure back in the late 1700s to overthrow an oppressive government, and perhaps the Mexican people should consider a similar course of action. However, we cannot remain a nation or protect our people from deadly diseases (such as antibiotic-resistant tuberculosis just to name one) if we do not maintain our borders and enforce our immigration laws. This is a fact.

When our Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, released an alarming memo last month to law enforcement agencies warning that most of us conservatives are “rightwing extremists,” especially if we are military veterans, I thought surely she’d follow the way of another radical leftist, former Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, who was forced to resign in 1994 for encouraging young people to masterbate.

Not so. Sec. Napolitano was right back at the national microphones last week reassuring the American people that Mexican passengers flying into U.S. airports were being “passively” screened for flu symptoms! Does she think we are all slobbering idiots? Anyone with more than a room-temperature IQ knows that tens of thousands of “undocumented” persons of interest are flooding over our open southern borders each day! Who is “passively screening” these people?

It’s not really influenza that worries me. If liberalism is a mental disorder, (as I’m becoming convinced it is) then our efforts to find a cure for such insanity should be our highest national priority. The cure is verifiable, well-documented, and tirelessly shared information. The leftist mindset will not simply annoy us with their altered states of reality and political correctness, or just tax us into poverty. It is likely to get a lot of us killed! The damage being done to our national security, our economy, and our culture will prove to be a vexing burden for decades to come. We must not give in to fear. We must confront the “Obama agenda” unfolding in our nation’s capitol by every legal means at our disposal. Our national survival is at stake!

The Heaviest Element Known to Science

Lawrence Livermore Laboratories has discovered the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2-6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, Governmentium’s mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

A conservative activist friend, Crista Huff, attended the anti-stimulus protest rally at the Denver Capitol. Since I couldn’t attend, I asked her to send a report on what she observed there.

Hi Bruce,

I forgot about reporting while I was at the event, so I didn’t take pictures.  You can use this writing if you like:

 

My girls and I, ages 7, 10 and 13, arrived at the Capitol in Denver for the Anti-Stimulus Rally at about 12:10 PM.  We got the last parking space in the nearest big parking lot, but the parking payment machine was out of order.  We all said a prayer asking that we wouldn’t get a parking ticket, and then walked to the Capitol.

 

I was surprised that the crowd was distinctly smaller than the crowd at the Pro-Israel Rally in January, maybe 500 people.  Various legislators took quick turns denouncing the Stimulus Package, and reiterated that it would saddle our children and grandchildren with debt for decades to come.  The crowd intermittently chanted “no more pork!”. 

 

We heard from former Congressman Tom Tancredo, State Senator Dave Schultheis, State Rep. Frank McNulty, Jon Caldara from the Independence Institute and others.  Nationally-syndicated writer Michelle Malkin was on hand, and she’s truly gorgeous, smiling all the while.

 

There was a roasted pig, which got eaten after the speeches ended at 12:30 PM.  There was also a live pig which was led up to the podium to accentuate the pork in the spending package.  The kids loved the pig!  It looked not so much like a farm pig as some kind of wild thing from Borneo — black and hairy and remarkable, like a caricature of a fierce animal.

 

Afterwards, the girls and I said hello to various friends from Republican politics and the media.  Rep. Carole Murray from our House District 45 graciously showed us around a bit inside the Capitol.  I knew that the girls would love the grand architecture, and they also enjoyed the stairs, the elevators, and the nooks and crannies typical of an old building.

 

The girls marveled at the Senate Gallery.  I pointed at the Senators’ desks and discussed that this was where the Senators debated bills, and gestured toward the gallery wherein the spectators sit.  My oldest daughter Isabella noticed that some of the Senators’ desks were quite messy and others were neat.  She wondered if our friend State Senator Ted Harvey had a neat desk or a messy one.  I defended Ted and assured her that he was probably one of the neat ones, but truly, I have no idea!

 

The funniest part was that in the Senate Gallery, the armrests have built-in ashtrays.  The girls asked what those metal contraptions were, and when I said they were ashtrays, they truly had no idea to what I was referring!

 

Before leaving, we perused all the portraits of the Presidents on the third floor.  Right away, everyone wanted to go see the crazy-haired man in one of the portraits, who turned out to be Martin Van Buren. We discussed the concept of “dueling” while viewing his picture.  We had to pay homage to Abraham Lincoln, and the girls were duly impressed.

 

A good time was had by all.  Even though the Stimulus is a fiscal disaster, and an affront to Christianity — there’s a provision in there which tells Universities that if they accept stimulus money they can’t use it for refurbishing any campus building in which religious groups meet — I have taught my girls to approach life in a constructive manner, and perhaps my cheery optimism has rubbed off on them, along with my faith in Christ.  I am raising them to identify and solve problems, personal and national problems, and all types in between, with a hefty dose of prayer and calling upon the LORD for intervention when He is willing.  Amen!
